My 14 Day Reset
I’m on day 12 of the reset diet and feel great!
How can I feel great when I can’t have sugar, alcohol, coffee, dairy, egg or gluten? Well, I guess my body likes the stuff I can have, the good, clean, made from scratch food. I’ve been busier nowadays, with a lot of food planning, washing, chopping, roasting and sautéing. The spices I use fill my kitchen with a delightful scent. My husband follows the same regiment so keeping each other accountable helps. I lost 3 lbs after the first week. He probably lost more, but won’t check until the last day.
My biggest accomplishment is keeping cravings under control. I care about that more than the weight loss. I switched from treats (especially at coffee time) to fruits, veggies and nuts. My squash soup is a lifesaver so I thought I’d share the recipe with you. Tis the season for roasting, so get the oven ready for that beautiful butternut squash and try my recipe below.
