Breast Health Demystified
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we see a lot of pink around us, there are fundraising events and other campaigns targeting mainly awareness. There is a lot of focus on early detection, when cancer is much more manageable, which is a good thing. Pink frosting, pink cookies and cupcakes…not so good!
But how about prevention strategies? What can we do to prevent breast cancer in the first place? Well, a while ago I talked about some of these strategies, as they relate to vitamin D intake, exercise, limiting alcohol and other lifestyle choices.
Here is the BIG news: we are bringing you three experts to teach you not only some cool, non invasive monitoring techniques, but also some hands on preventative strategies – LITERALLY!!! By the way, this has to do with your lymphatic system.
